Saving Souls Through Social Work and Therapy
Hey, I am Kedisha Dixon, MSW, RP, the owner of Purpose. Purpose was established to be a support for our adolescent community. A safe place to navigate the challenges of anxiety, depression, trauma, family conflict or whatever “purpose robbers” that are at play. My purpose as a clinically trained therapist is to engage with adolescents; teaching them new ways of adapting/coping with mental health symptoms or challenges. With an eclectic and directive approach, my ultimate purpose in this work is healing through social work and therapy!
Our focus is to help adolescents and families heal, energize, and become more aware of their inner strengths. Purpose provides individual and family therapy for adolescents ages 13-19 to help with strengthening their toolbox to face the challenges of life. Doing therapy as an inpatient adolescent therapist, taught me how difficult adolescents have it today. From the pressures of social media to the dark paths of suicidal ideation to trauma, our youth are in need.
Purpose provides child and family investigations for the Colorado Courts. A Child and Family Investigator (CFI) is the investigative arm of the court. The role of a CFI is to conduct an objective investigation gathering data. The data is then formulated into a report of recommendations for the Judge or Magistrate, advocating the best interest of the child in cases of divorce/separation, allocation of parenting time and decision making responsibilities. We are listed for the following districts: 1st, 4th, 10th, 17th and 20th.
