Depression, fear, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at some point in our lives. Through evidence based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), we are able to help you rediscover your motivation, perspective, and purpose that you may have lost or never experienced in your life.
Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger post traumatic events. We can help with overcoming these symptoms and guide you through the process of grief and healing with the assistance of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
Individuals on the Autism Spectrum may experience difficulty with emotional regulation and identifying/understanding/communicating their emotions. While working as a manager of a grouphome, specific skills were acquired while I supported this population. With experience in Applied Behavorial Analysis (ABA) therapy, my therapeutic approach adds a unique flair to doing therapy with this versatile population.
